What do we do in the inspection?

Different components and systems need to be in perfect working conditions for the correct operation of renewable energy electricity plants. Tecnatom provides services to ensure excellent operational conditions, with the aim of increasing efficiency and safety in plants.

We use Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods in our inspections, which are of no risk to the integrity of the tested equipment. This provides huge added value and must be continuously carried out throughout the period during which the renewable energy plants are in operation.

Thanks to our 30 years of experience in the sector, we offer advanced inspection technology based services, such as EMAT, UT Phased Array, laser generated ultrasounds, thermography, digital radiography or induced currents.

These processes are aimed at helping our clients meet the rigorous safety regulations required, facilitating inspections so that they are as fast and efficient as possible, which subsequently has a direct impact on the reduction of costs and increase in production.

How do we develop our services?

The NDT solutions are implemented as per the needs of our clients, adopting a plan which best suits the performance and production of the renewable energy plant. Once the plan of action is decided upon, we will then undertake the suitable measures to achieve optimum efficiency, always in accordance with the regulation specifications.

The inspections are carried out by our Non-Destructive Testing specialists, who are known for their versatility, easily adapting to the geometry and thickness of different elements. Our systems can be modified to meet the needs of our clients and can even be adapted for the most demanding verification requirements.

What is the added value?

Tecnatom is an international leader in NDT technology processes, from the specification of models to the choice of the best possible inspection methods. To do this we use autonomous robotic equipment, and we have also developed our own hardware and software for the installation of ultrasound apparatus and induced currents.

This technological capacity makes us totally independent, as our robotic systems are designed and assembled by our own specialist engineers. They stand out for the flexibility and speed they show during inspections, improving process efficiency and reducing times.

We are well aware of the importance of having the latest technology as a base on which to grow, which has been reflected in the large amount of investment put into our R+D department.
