As part of the process of diversification and internationalisation in which Tecnatom has been involved in recent years, the company has just created the firm FarField NDT, Inc., a Joint Venture between Tecnatom and the US company Innerspec Technologies.
Innerspec is a world leader in the manufacturing and development of instrumentation and applications for non-destructive testing-based inspection using EMAT (Electro Magnetic Acoustic Transducers), Dry-Coupled UT ultrasonics and high-energy UT technologies.
With the ultimate aim of promoting closeness to the end client, the objective of FarField NDT is to provide special inspection services on the North American market via the combination of the experience and capacity for technology development of the two companies.
FarField NDT will integrate the know-how of the two companies to develop optimised solutions in complex projects, where conventional inspection techniques are not capable of providing satisfactory solutions.
Likewise, the activities of FarField NDT will be complemented with training and consulting services aimed at providing integral, high added value services.
The creation of this new company, along with the recent establishment of our subsidiary Tecnatom México and the activities of Tecnatom USA, reinforce our competitive position on the North American markets, which are especially significant for the Group’s business.
