Control Room Development
Industrial control rooms are essential for safety and correct operation of the facility.
Within these rooms are monitoring elements and vital information for optimum working conditions, which are managed by the operators to ensure the status of the most important equipment in the plant.
These industrial control rooms are specifically designed so that the user can deal with any type of emergency that may arise. They also facilitate large scale routine maintenance and checks, which will considerably prolong the service life of the equipment.
All the apparatus and systems which make up the industrial plant are connected to the control room, meaning that the operator receives signals indicating the status of all the equipment. This allows measures on machinery located around the plant to be taken from one place.

Tecnatom Expertise
The complexity of control room design requires a variety of disciplines and skills. Prior human factors engineering research must be performed, as well as designing both mechanical and electric equipment, manufacturing it, testing it and finally installing it. We also offer operation interfaces that facilitate tasks, the updating of older equipment and cybersecurity activities.
Tecnatom has been designing international standard control rooms for the last three decades and belongs to important forums such as the IAEA, NRC and EPRI. This has allowed us to design, among other things, around twenty nuclear plant control rooms and almost a hundred engineering projects related to instrumentation and human factors.
Tecnatom is a leader in the updating of analog equipment and in the supply of new control rooms with the most advanced technological equipment, while bringing older equipment up to date. This is done in accordance with the existing national and international laws, as we are certified to work in over 40 countries.
