About Us
Tecnatom has spent the last 70 years in the energy services business, starting as an integral part of the development of the Spanish nuclear program, focused on operations, training and engineering. Over the years, this experience has been leveraged into other industries including the aerospace, renewables, fossil, oil & gas and industrial sectors, providing highly advanced technologies, robotics, engineered solutions, inspection services, and innovative instructional learning platforms.
Westinghouse first acquired 50% of Tecnatom in 2021 and operated the company jointly with Endesa. Since then, Westinghouse and Tecnatom partnered successfully in support of projects and commercial opportunities, particularly in inspection services, training and digital solutions. In 2023, Westinghouse acquired the remaining 50% and fully integrated Tecnatom’s nuclear resources, capabilities and products to better serve the installed fleet of nuclear operators and new build opportunities globally.
Positioning Tecnatom to focus on aerospace, renewables, fossil, oil & gas and industrial customers, the company builds on its global leadership in non-destructive examination (NDE) for the aerospace industry and continues to develop leading cutting-edge technologies and efficiency solutions to ensure excellence in operations.
Tecnatom has also established itself as a unique digital training provider to help customers optimize operations and support the workforce. Customizable learning platforms and instructional techniques combine with years of experience with simulation and human factor engineering to facilitate talent development that propels client success.
